Who are you? describe yourself in a few words.

I’ve been living in Scotland since 2015. I fell in love with this place, in its landscape and atmosphere. I love dark chocolate, cappuccino, exploring new places and food, listening to people's stories, sunrises and long walks. My first photo was taken with my eyes when I was a kid - I was on the way to school when I noticed the light falling on the tree. I looked at it, closed tightly my eyes and took a photo. Yup, for a few days, I was wondering how I could print it. By taking photos, I capture the beauty of the moment. A moment that is unique and will never happen again.

Is it important to have the support of your loved ones, family, friends?

Yes, it is essential to have someone by your side to push you even though you don't believe in yourself or you feel it doesn't make sense. Someone who doesn't say your ideas are stupid. I had tremendous support and I know that I wouldn't be where I am today.

Looking at what you have created in the past, would you change anything today?

No, nothing. Life is a journey and everything happens for a reason. Each of us started with a strange tone on photos, a crooked horizon or a green skin. I look at my photos from the beginning and only see how much I’ve learned, how far I’ve come, and how much more I still have to learn and explore.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU DAILY?

People and their stories, nature and the light, music, movies and books. I’m a very curious person and love observing everything that’s happening around me.

What made you decide to follow a creative career choice (though possibly risky) rather than something more stable?

I’ve always dreamed of doing what I love the most and not feeling that I work. I'm lucky to make my dream come true. Besides, the very fact that I have the opportunity to capture someone's most beautiful day makes me feel even more grateful for what I do. I know that people will look at the photo and be able to go back to the unique moment, to those emotions that happened a few days, months, years ago. I feel like I have some kind of machine that allows people to go back in time.

After these years of working on your craft, do you still feel the joy of doing what you do?

Oh yes! Each wedding is unique and one-of-a kind.

Think back to your childhood. What did you hope to become as an adult?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a princess and wear beautiful dresses. Then my dreams became more mundane, and I wanted to be an astronaut. I dreamed of admiring the stars up close and the Earth through the round window in the spaceship. And I wanted to wear a spacesuit. I only knew that physics was not my forte, so I ended up admiring the stars from a distance.
